PART THIRTY NINE

What We Are Looking For..

LEAD SINGER

Hair: 

We want the lead singer to have a plait in his hair to show his individuality and alternative look.  His hair should also be wavy and messy in order to look rugged and as if he doesn't care about what he looks like.

Costume:

He will be dressed in a fur coat. This relates it the style of bands in the indie/alternative genre. 

He will wear circular glasses, maybe yellow or orange ones, giving off the sort of retro vibe which will appeal to our - alternative/fashionable target audience.

BASS PLAYER, GUITARIST, DRUMMER,

(The Lost Boys)

Hair: 

We want the lost boys to have messy hair, maybe slightly wavy or curly. They need to wear bandanas to show their rebellious careless nature and to introduce the audience to their identities.

Make Up: 

We want to put mud lines across their faces and use black eye make up, eye liner, eyeshadow, etc. to make them appear gothic rebellious and wild. The mud streaks not heir faces will differ them from the usual teenaged boy from the city and will show the outdoor free-spirited lifestyle that they live.

Costume:

I want the lost boys to be wearing plain black of white T-shirts which we can either rip or wipe mud on. This will give them the classic indie look which boybands like KODALINE and LAWSON achieve through this outfit. They will wear an indie leather necklace, like a shark tooth or pointed crystal.

They will wear black skinny jeans with rips in to accompany their indie boyband look. Maybe boots like Doc Martins to complete the look.

FAIRY GIRL

Hair:

We were thinking of making the fairy's hair into what is called 'mermaid hair'. This is where there are lots of different crazy colours. Because Charlotte has white hair already, we could easily get a hold of some hair chalk, maybe pink of blue and highlight her hair with different neon colours to give an alternative, hipster look similar to the look that our female audience would dress as too.

Make Up: 

For the pixie/fairy's make up in London, we want it to be colourful and sparkly as shown on the right. This will make her look like a good pixie rather than an evil one. Yet in the woods, her make up needs to have a more dark and eery, in order to show the contrast  between before, and now and how she has changed since being dragged into the lost boy's reckless lifestyle.

Costume:

In the woods, the fairy girl will be dark and more gothic and evil. We want her to wear a black t shirt sort of dress on the right with some red or black fairy wings. This makes her look gothic but the fairy wings tell the viewer that it is the same fairy girl, just in a different environment, with a different look.

However, for the fairy in London, we want her to look more pretty and good. We want her to wear a paler fairy-like flow dress as shown on the right. with white wings to look more of an angel than a devil.
